Leverage Edu WordPress network, single site to six.
Fractional CTO for Leverage Edu across a six-property WordPress network. We designed the multisite architecture, ran the migration from a single site, and own the day-to-day infrastructure decisions across all six properties.

Not a relaunch. One site rebuilt into six.
Leverage.biz is an international education group operating across multiple markets and brands. When we joined as Fractional CTO, the business was running on a single WordPress site and preparing to expand into a multi-property network. The job was to design the architecture that could support that expansion and then run it.
We designed and executed the migration from a single WordPress installation to a multisite network: six independent properties sharing a common codebase, with independent content, themes, and editorial structures per property. The migration ran without editorial downtime: content teams continued publishing throughout the transition.
Since the migration, the engagement has been operational. We own the infrastructure layer: hosting decisions, the update pipeline, performance monitoring, incident response, and the team tooling that content teams use across the network. The internal teams own content and feature priorities; we own the platform they depend on.
Single site to six-property network
Leverage.biz started as a standalone WordPress site. The business expanded into multiple markets and brands, each needing its own web presence. We designed and executed the migration from a single installation to a multisite network: one codebase, six independently operating properties, with a centralised update and maintenance pipeline.
Fractional CTO: platform decisions owned
The engagement is not advisory. We own the platform-level decisions: hosting architecture, plugin selection, theme approach, deployment pipeline, and which technical debt to carry versus address. The internal team ships content and features; we own the infrastructure layer they build on.
Daily ops across six live properties
Running a six-property network requires coordination that a single-site maintenance retainer does not cover. Uptime monitoring, incident response, performance alerting, and the update cycle all need to account for cross-property dependencies. We manage this as a single operational unit while keeping each property independently deployable.
Operational scope. In full.
